Children's Swim Lessons

From infants to teens, we have a program that meets your child where they are at. Silverlake’s Swim Lesson Program is aligned with Swim America, the nation’s premier learn-to-swim initiative. To guarantee personalized attention for your child, we maintain a 1:5 ratio of instructors to students. Upon successful completion of our 10-level program, participants will demonstrate proficiency in swimming 300 yards of freestyle, 100 yards of Individual Medley (IM), and 100 yards of backstroke. Goggles are required for all

Need help selecting a level?

When choosing the appropriate level of swim lessons, it is essential to use the assessment tool provided to ensure accurate placement. Our swim program offers 30 to 45-minute classes with a maximum of five students per session, ensuring personalized attention and effective learning. The methodology is built around our Ten-Station Method, focusing on specific skills and emphasizing proper technique. Each station allows students to progress at their own pace, with milestones recognized to motivate and encourage them. By the time students reach Station Ten, they are swim-team ready, capable of swimming 300 yards of freestyle, 100 yards of backstroke, and completing a 100-yard Individual Medley. This level of proficiency not only prepares them for age group competition but also equips them with the endurance and skills necessary for any aquatic activity, enhancing their overall safety and confidence in the water.
